How will it benefit me/my organization?

For data users, data citation supports the reproducibility of their research. It allows other researchers to locate and access research data more easily. It also increases transparency and encourages more high-quality datasets. Last but not least, it encourages the reuse of data for new research questions.

We want you to fully benefit from the data citation services that we provide. We hope to answer questions like:

  • How do we cite data in our papers and publications?
  • How is ONC incorporating best practices and standards?
  • How can I learn more about this topic?

After this workshop, you will have a better understanding of data citation, a very important and rapidly emerging facet of data management.
